Kendra Adams, Ed.S.
I completed my school psychologist practicum and internship experiences at schools across Laramie County, eventually securing a full-time position with Laramie County School District #2 once I received my full licensure. As the sole school psychologist within this district (the second in-person position was never filled due to staffing shortages), I served all 1,000+ students K-12. In 2023, the Air Force moved our family to California, but LCSD#2 was still only able to fill one of their two in-person school psychologist positions. I continued to serve the district from afar as a virtual private contractor, conducting psychoeducational evaluations and attending all meetings remotely. Since then, I have also served schools within Johnson County School District #1.
My goal is to help support districts across Wyoming that are unable to fill their open school psychologist positions. I know firsthand the stress of having to shoulder twice the workload when no candidates are available. I hope to provide a temporary reprieve from this issue while districts continue their search for a suitable in-person candidate.
